Cork St. Patrick's Day Parade to be streamed live online for audiences across the globe
Cork City Council is bringing the Cork St.Patrick’s Day parade to people around the world with a live stream of the parade being shown online this St.Patrick’s Day.
Log on to www.corkstpatricksfestival.ie or tune in to Cork Community Television on UPC Digital Channel 803 to watch the festivities at they kick off at 1 pm on Saturday and will run until the parade finishes at approximately 2.30 pm.
Over 27,000 people tuned in online last year and lots more are expected to log on this year as Damien O’Mahony, from Cork City Council’s TEAM Unit explains “We also offered the online live stream of the parade last year and the response was huge with over 27,000 people visiting the site from all over the world. With more and more Irish living abroad, it’s a fantastic way for them all to share in the fantastic parade that we have lined up here in Cork this St.Patrick’s Day”.
