ON THE STAGE

TWO TIME POLKA

Blending Cajun music with bluegrass and old-time sounds, this Cork-based band waltzes, two steps and washboard shimmies its way from the Bayou to Kentucky, Roanoake, Virginia and points south, east and west.

Boasting a collective of some of the South East’s most experienced musicians, whether you are young or old or whether you like Elvis or Ed Sheeran, the band has the musical maturity and the expansive playlist to guarantee a top class show.

DOUGLAS COMHALTAS CÉILĺ MÓR

Join the musicians and dancers of the Douglas branch of Comhaltas as they turn Patrick St into a giant Céilí and a celebration of traditional music.  There’ll be Irish dancers there too to teach you all the steps, so join in what is now a firm festival favourite, and a fantastic tribute to traditional Irish music and dance

CORK SAMBA

A group of 20 musicians who play a lively mix of samba, hop-hop, drum 'n' bass and house rhythms with occasional blasts of vocals as Gaeilge.

THE FABULARIUM

'The Town Band of Bremen is a new outdoor family show about four fellow animals who all share a passion for music, featuring storytelling, live music, mask work,and puppetry -  all performed from their medieval cart.

CIRCUS WORKSHOPS WITH WOBBLY CIRCUS

 

Become part of Wobbly Circus by joining in their circus skills workshop. The workshop is run on a “come and have a go” basis, and all ages can come and learn the tricks of the circus, including tightwire walking, juggling, diabolo and devilstick techniques, plate spinning, poi spinning, and more.
